You said you have compared these to others. Have you compared them to the Dynaudio bm6a II's? I have been considering them for awhile. I like that they are only 25 lbs. each, as I need something I am able to move around easily.
Also, the BM6a II's have received fine reviews, although nothing like the raves these Events are getting. At 46 lbs each, these Events are a bit out of my practical usage area at this time, even though they may well be an order of magnitude better in performance, and at twice the price they should be better.
BTW, have you noticed the slight hiss/hum without any input that the Sweetwater reviewer mentioned on these Events?
