You want a subwoofer that has a plate amp with a VARIABLE PHASE CONTROL
Having a sub with two choices of in phase and out of phase is not enough
control to get it right on
The variable phase control lets you choose a phase point anywhere between
0 and 180 degrees

Also, one other thing...dont by a cheap piece of crap subwoofer and
expect good results
