Hi,I am currently using ca. 2" paving stones under my Sonatinas with a nice piece of marble tile on top of that for looks (both from Home Depot). I use Vibrapods under the speakers (no spikes). I really like the sound I get. It may be the height at my listening position, but in my room, the Sonatinas benefit from being raised up a few inches. Before doing this, I felt that I was "looking down" at the soundstage. Now it is just right. I'm getting great sound driving them with Doc. Bottlehead's Foreplay and a pair of Parabees (300B).
