The Minuetto is a baby Electa. (note: Electa is NOT the same as the Electa Amator w/c sounds different) The best description for either speaker is that they are both Smoothie Fabers. Both sound darker, richer, less crisp, less livelier and mellower than the typical Sonus faber while retaining good bass tune and agility but with more bloom and warmth in the bass than there is tautness and punchiness. Both speakers are "primed" to play civilized music preferably of the classical persuasion. Both sound too refined for music that is meant to be raw and rough.
