Your dealer's product line sounds like Progressive Audio in Columbus, Ohio. Robert Roeger pointed out that Vandersteens are a pain-in-the-butt for dealers to repair, especially for head-banging first-order tweeter killers like me, because you have to remove the bottom and pull all the #@$&*! staples off the cloth sock to get access to the drivers. If the Revel dealer was Genesis Audio, I had a mediocre 2 hour session there with the Salon with all ML Reference gear and Nordost cables. Something is wrong with that listening room--bass evaporates, highs disappear, and dynamics are squashed. Based on other raves I've read about, they must perform a lot better in other installations.
