OK, thanks for the clarification. As my local dealer doesn't have this new model on display yet, it was conjecture on my part.

Can you offer any impressions re the merit of active / passive multi-amping of any of these 3 models.

In fact, this is an open question to any Linn tweakers (is that an oxymoron?) If anyone has had success with non-Linn active XO for any of these speakers, could they share the secrets? i.e. XO frequencies, slopes, phase compensation, still require any impedance compensation, etc.
