That's what it counts. After all of the specs and hooplah, it's how it sounds that counts. Speakers aren't amplifiers. You can't measure them that way. 2 speakers with very similar specs always, ALWAYS, end up sounding completely different.
And here's something for you. A PSB Stratus Mini in my room sound solid down to about 35hz. Bass sounds firm and articulate. Yet, Stereophile's test specs showed a roll off at about 80hz. I have some test gear and I can confirm my result. In another room, the bass
is thin and lacking in extention. So, what's spec do you go with for
bass response with this speaker? Answer - YOU DON'T. YOU LISTEN.
