Brad-Minimum distance between Signum is going to always be determined by your room, or acts of nature (housemates, kids, spouse.) Start at 6ft apart, then slowly pull them apart from each other while maintaining toe in. As you pull them apart, you'll experience less congestion, the beginnings of stereo, deeper bass extension and an overall increase in clarity and resolution. You will pass a point (perhaps 11ft or so) when everything will fall apart. Shoot for the happy medium that balances clarity and space with warmth and timbral neutrality.
