Whether a speaker is phase coherent or not might be interesting from a technical standpoint, but really, it doesn't say much for whether it will play music or not. Pick a price you can comfortably afford, buy the most musically satisfying speaker that costs less than that price, and spend the rest on a really good dinner at a fine restaurant. Once you're home and enjoying the sweet sounds of beautiful music, maybe it might be interesting to check on the technical specs of the speakers you bought. But then again, probably not.
I've been listening to the Trentes now for around two months, and have enjoyed them so much I haven't bothered checking any of the technical data yet.
