Soliloquy 5.0s burnt in period

I have auditioned a pair of Soliloquy 5.0s today. the depth is good, resolution is excellent, however the bass was not extended too low, neither high is high enough. Soundstage is not very wide nor open. the dealer said that the pair was put out there few days ago. does the 5.0s need a long break in period? What is the difference before and after well brokee in?
