Yes that does describe about every Cerwin Vega that I can remember too. But then again were they given appropriate amplification? You see I can also make the same statement about every pair of Klipsch I heard. It seems to me that high efficiency speakers and high powered amps make for bad sound. But to be fair, all the Klipsch I heard in the past still sounded better then the Vegas from the same time period. I am just curious to hear how the high efficiency speakers of the 70's and 80's would sound given appropriate amplification.Regards
