You've come very close to describing my system: Foreplay plus ParaSEX amps plus Forte IIs with the Ah! Tjoeb, Project 1.2 and a Pioneer tuner for sources (and a ARC SP9 as a phono stage).Very listenable, but a tad to the bright side. I wish the bass response were stronger -- I suspect that the size of my listening room and the enormous amount of clutter in it reduce the bass potential considerably.
But you're right in the essentials -- the Forte with SETs is a musical combo indeed.
