Mr. Mailman,Aside from what you've mentioned, you should expand your short list to Vienna Acoustic's Haydn and Mozart. Both have largesse bass sound though never boomy with a creamed treble, and a lush midband. I have personally auditioned both over tube amps. They sing! Are very agile and easy on the ears but authoritative as well. Vocals are supreme and intimate on these speakers.
Also, I had a short audition on the Piegas S2. They look very promising with an open detailed sound, and a good bottom. Slim and sleek floorstanders, and driven to good with a NAD integrate.
I hear a lot of wows over the Twin Reynaud. I would not miss them out
i the bunch. A must hear speakers I think! Good look!
