Hello all,I am looking for a speaker around 2000$-2500$ and I was wondering what
people thought about ProAc Response 1SC vs SF Concert(ino,o). I've
heard two (SF Concertino/1SC) at home, but the SF Concertino seemed
to be pretty agressive in the highs. I've been told the problem was
my CDP (Cambridge CD4SE). Any comments about that? (In fact, the
concertino lacked the bass extension the Proac 1SC had, but some
suggested to add a REL sub and it would be about the same price as
the ProAc Response 1SC)I've read alot about tubes in discussion forum (PP and SET) and I was
wondering if one (SF or Proac) was easier to drive than another...
What kind of power amp would I need to drive (get the most) those
speakers with a tube amp? Would it be underpowered to go with SET
amp? I have a budget of about 2500$ for the power amp too. Thanks!
Martin
