Hi,

I just read recently your message asking for advice about the Trenté. I consider them to have the best price/performance ratio of the audio market. They will deliver ultra high-end performance in some fields (treble, timbres, image, and... magic) and deeply satisfying performances in others (bass). Let me remind you that they buried my Mani2 alive except for the bass.

You have to know, though, that these are truly neutral speakers. The Trenté will give you exactly what you put behind. They can sound incredible, but also harsh if your gear is not up to them. Despite their understated looks, they are really high-end speakers and must be treated as such. You would not consider putting a crappy wire with a BW801 or an Alon Circé? Don't do so with the Trenté.

That does not mean associated gear must be expensive, but neutral and musical. You can use your Trenté with ultra-high-end electronics without any frustration.

Hope this helps.

JB
