Home Speaker Asylum

General speaker questions for audio and home theater.

RE: I read the review.

That is a huge room. Do have your speaks in the symetrical end with perpendicular walls. Make your triangle smaller and within 5' of the wall behind your speaks. Try sitting at or someplace within 2' of the apex of your new triangle with bout a half way toe-in. And clear out anything between you and the plane of your speakers. The sweet spot position will add gain from the front end of your room and flesh out your midrange with better bass. Your soundscape may become more cohesive and natural, too. If that doesn't happen, keep adjusting your listening position or the size of your triangle.

Oh, fooey, just realized that I was confusing Dave's room with the original inquiry. Nevertheless, it is sound principle and will reward.
