Given a set of floor ported loudspeakers over a suspended wood floor(I have Proac D15's, but there must be others), does the floor porting change the isolate/decouple argument? I have never been satisfied I am getting quality bass at higher db levels. I currently use spikes (cones)with discs, but have tried sorbothane - neither seem to perform well although it may be more speaker placement related. Any opinions/experience?
