RE: Near Field and far Field Speakers

I still have my Matrix 801's, and listen to them every day!
I have the JBL's in my home theatre room.
I enjoy both speakers.
On well recorded material, the 801's are better.
The jbl's are more tolerant of some of the crap recordings I like.
