An excellent choice, IMHO.
The quad 909 is an excellent sounding amp, and works well with it's matching pre amp.
I would look for a used pair, save some money ?
A used Threshold S 500 series 2 amp is good too.'Gayle Sanders of Martin Logan used Threshold for years.
