Quad 909 w/ Martin Logan Vantage

General speaker questions for audio and home theater.

I'm currently running my Vantage's with the DK Designs Reference Mk. II integrated. I want to try seperates, but I have a very limited budget. I'm intrigued by the Quad 909 and maybe the matching preamp, simply because of the (possibly warped) logic of Quad amps should love (Martin Logan) ESLs, n'est-ce pas? Plus the fact that the amp is freed from having to drive the woofers as the Vantage's woofer is powered.

Does anyone have some real world experience with the Quad-ML combo?
