Indeed. Several years ago when I was looking for small speakers I ended up with $200 a pair KRK ST-6s from Guitar Center. I'd auditioned many audiophile type small speakers and the KRKs sounded at least as good as speakers costing many times their price. I was ready to spend a couple of thousand on speakers and instead spent a couple of hundred.
