Thank you so much for your comments and for the detailed pictures. Having heard the Andra ll I am predisposed toward what you have said and can't help but to believe your assessment. And a retail price of (just) $24,000. How does Eggleston do it!

I did smile warmly at reading your comments:

A few years ago I ran across comments by a user in which he used amazingly similar language. What brought the smile was the comments were written in 1955! The speaker was the Klipschorn. And it was in mono!

Anyway, I have two questions. What is the size of your listening room and what genre of music that you listen to.
