I wouldn't expect 35 year old Klipschs to sound like they did originally unless you've replaced the crossover caps. There are replacement complete crossovers and tweeters available. Naturally, positioning is important. Do you have them on short (ie. approx. 2 1/2") risers that angle the speaker upward toward the listening position?
