At the risk

Of telling you something stupid, since I don't know the depth or width of your scratch, what the finish is, etc., there are some old tricks you can do with small scratches. Most involve fillers and/or waxes of some kind. These may not be compatible with your current finish, but if they are, it's simple to fill with the right color, buff up, relax and ignore the fact that you just did a quick cosmetic job for your own benefit.
