I found the NHT 2.9 to be an abrasively bright, fatiguing, and frankly annoying speaker to listen to. The Classic Four is probably less bad but I would save my $$ for something better if I were you, or buy a different speaker in this price range. Von Schweikert VR-1 is one easy pick over NHT - I'm sure there are many, many others.
If you get confused, listen to the music play (Garcia/Hunter)
