...but it seems to me that there could be a few things at work, just like with speakers. Piano to piano production variance, different age, different locations. Now toto resolve the issue she should either have her tuner go and listen to the piano she auditioned, or she should hire the tuner from the shop. Or both! Even so, with the other issues I mentioned they may never sound the same.
Our audiophile obsession with this sort of difference is so comparable! So I feel for her.
