I own a pair of Image T45s that get used for botth HT and music as I can't afford to have both. I love the neutral sound of PSB's Image series. Its a wamr sounding speaker and compared to the MA, they would sound a little less clear in the highs. I found though that the longer I listened to the PSBs, the more they opened up in the high end. They are speaker that invites you to listen. All the detail is there, its just "not in your face" there. Tchiakovsky violin concerto in D just makes the tweeters sing so sweetly and without an etchyness to it. I've listened to this piece in excess of 85 dbs and the tweeters never became harsh.
As far as looks go, I can't help you there. To me a speaker is more about the sound then the looks. There are much nice looking speakers than PSB but for the money, the nicer looking speakers won't touch the sound quality of the PSBs. Its a personal choice.
