I have found that the distance BETWEEN my Vandy 2ce Sig II's is a very important issue also. By the way, I also believe that the placement possibilities recommended in the manual are excellent. And putting the speakers a third into the room, and sitting a third of the room from the wall behind you, is a very nice way to listen also. Enjoy your wonderful speakers.
