I had owned PSB T65 for 8 months and sold on Audiogon. PSB sounds slightly darkish and warm (after 200 hrs of break in). Treble and midrange are mediocre at best. Their forte is that the bass is phemomenal, no subwoofer needed. They image quite well though. I never owned B & W so no comment there. Another member suggested Monitor Audio RS6. I bought them after selling PSB. RS6 required serious break in, say about 300 hrs or so. A true neural sounding speakers with fast and remarkable bass. Midrange is good for the price. RS6's neurality is dependent on the amplification though. Also the built quality of RS6 is just superb.
