RE: What sux is...

I'm not sure which series I have either.

I'm the original owner and they've only been moved a few times so the walnut cabinets are in near perfect condition. Every time they've been moved I've packed them up into their original boxes, which I still have! Unfortunately, one of the boxes has sustained some pretty serious water damage, so it's unusable.

Just checked the condition of the drivers and, sure enough, the foam surrounds on all of them (woofers and mids alike) are in pretty bad shape. There are plenty of foam repair kits available for the A400's on Ebay for around $40, but I'm not sure how likely it is I'd find someone who'd be willing to go through that much trouble.

I'm not looking to make a quick buck as much as I am trying to find a good home for them and free up the space they're (uselessly) occupying now. I'd hate to have to just dump them at the local electronics recycling site, but that may be my only alternative. Although I guess I might as well list them on craigslist or something first and see if a local Los Angeles A400 nut turns up who might be willing to give them the extra care they'll require...
