(Cross-posted from the Vintage Forum.)
I've had a pair of RCA LC1As (the original MI-11411 driver, first version with the ribbed cone) for a long time now. One of them is very clean and about an 8.5/10. The other driver is a little rough, and its surround has some crackling and deterioration... but it is repairable.
In addition, I also have a pair of the original furnace cabinets... both of which are very rough and are going to need a lot of tender loving care to be restored (cracked veneer, chips and dings all over).
Does anyone have a fairly educated opinion on the value of the whole shebang... drivers and cabinets together? I'm considering selling them and want to verify my estimate before I do so.
Thanks in advance for the help.
