I had 802 Series 2. After defeating the APOC, they sounded very similar to the Series 3.

Haven't heard the Genesis V, so no opinion there.

I currently have Gallo 3.1, which is an outstanding loudspeaker. See my review. They work best in a smaller room, say 3500 cu ft max (approx). 100 tube or 200 sand Watts will be fine. Very highly recommended.
