The Jaguars sound MUCH better with the grills removed with the tweeter polarity the same as the woofer. The average impedence is 9 ohms only dipping to 5 ohms at 3.8khz.
It was also suggested that a 1.9 ohm 10W resistor be put in series with the tweeter to bring the slightly "hot" tweeter balance back in line with the woofer although if they R used in a highly damped room, which is highly recommended, this could be dispensed with.
Bottom line, reverse tweeter polarity if the speaker grills R used, a very heavy/loaded speaker stand is recommended as is attention to room acoustics.
