First of all I want you to know that I have very little knowledge in this domain, and that English is not my native language.I have an amplifier (2*75W) and two speakers (it says on the speaker that it's power is 300W but it's probably about 50W).
I've hooked them together and in a few days the amplifier stopped working. I had it repaired, and apparently it was the pre-final (I don't know if that's the the correct word) that failed.
I measured the impedances of the speakers and one of them has 13 ohm instead of 8 ohm. What do you think it's wrong with it? Can it be repaired ? Would it be expensive ? Can I do it myself ?
