And if you're music taste runs one or the other it could polarize you in one camp or the other.The Quad 63 for example does classical acoustic well - some can;t live with anything else -- The do hard rock at volume very very badly and if you listen to any music that runs this way they are completely totally unnaceptable -- and THAT is why there are other speakers - uusing dynamic drivers -- the word dynamic is there for a reason!
