Klipsch KG4 question 4 u speaker buffs...

I have a pair of Klipsch KG4s. Here's a question for you speaker buffs. I bought them for 100$. I don't know if the guy I got them from had an ex girl pissed or what, but in each speaker the bottom 8" driver looked like it was cut with a razor blade a 1/4 of the way around the bottom of the speaker. (not sure the technical term..but the part that keeps the driver from flying out when bass hits) I repaired them with this crazy glue stuff that never hardens and stays flexable. So far its worked like a champ. That was about 2 years ago or so. Now..first, would that make much difference on the quality of the sound compared to a driver in perfect shape? The repaired drivers move as free and easy as the good drivers. Just kinda curious. Second..I saw someone say that replacement drivers are high priced. I've looked but have never found any, used or new. Where can I get 2 and would it even be that much of an improvement over the repaired ones i have?
Sean

P.S. - I know theres lots better speakers than KG4s, but the sound quality of these speakers just blew me away. What would be a good match for them so I can run 4 speakers instead of just 2 without compromising the sound from matched speakers?
