very rare speakers ... used to be an inexpensive alternative marketed by Carolina Audio but the price on those has doubled to $3000/pr with the Konus holding at $3500 I believe. I would expect you would pay $2000 for a mint pair, more if you can find a pair in the upgraded Palisander Rio finish ... check with Sakura Systems if you are in the USA for a demo pair
