Carver Amazings/Dahlquists

General speaker questions for audio and home theater.

I am familiar with these, but have never listened. I admit that I am not all that fond of Bob Carver's stuff after Phase Linear, but there are a pair of these on Craigslist for a decent price. There are also a couple pairs of Dahlquists on ebay for a good price (M-905), but I also have never heard them. I am on a mission for some new speakers in an impossibly cheap price range, and I want them to get down into the mid 30Hz range while keeping excellent balance overall. Comments, thoughts and assitance welcomed (knowing all the subjectivities and system dependance issues...) Thanks.
