Can anyone suggest an accurate full range speaker on the cheap? I'm trying to finish up an album here, and am struggling to get mixes that translate well to other systems. I have an old pair of super zeros and the sw2p sub. Everything above 160hz or so is fine, but it's very tough to tell what's going on down below. That sub was always too loose.... I'm thinking if I could get a tower that was reasonably flat, I could cut my mixing time down. I had Vandersteen 2ces at one point, and they had worked pretty well, but my wife "suggested" I get a smaller pair of speakers. I now have a little more room and was thinking about nabbing an old pair of them again, but by this point, they are about 13 years old and may be starting to deteriorate...any thoughts?
