I have VR4JR (originals) in a 5.1 with VR-1 in back and VR/S1 sub, and the center channel. It is awesome for HT but also outstanding for 2 channel. I was looking at B/W 703 and the VSA were so much better, I knew the instant that I listened to them that they were for me. Much better bass, better imaging, and much better soundstaging - the 4JRs are the real deal. I hope you get to listen, see if there is anybody near you that has them that might offer a listen.
