I like well designed two way speakers (probably because of my room, I suppose).While I do find some disussion about these speakers, I do not find as much discussion about Devores speakers and hardly any at other forums other than Audiogon. I could be wrong. I do find that every reviewer has gushed over them.
So, how good are these?
How does the Gibbon 8 ($2,800) compare to the comparable speakers in a similar price range. say,
Reference Decapo I
Tyler Acoustics Taylo Refs or Linbrooks?
JM Reynaud
Merlinetc...
PS. I know I should listen for myself but here in Pittsburgh, we have B&W, Definitive Technology, Rega, Lipinski Monitors, and VR4jrs. I will not listen to the Lipinski or VR4s because I do not like this particular dealer. With work these days, I have no time to spend a day driving to hear speakers in another town.
