I had been running my Gallo Ref 3s with no toe-in (mostly because I thought they sounded best that way and didn't like them much pointed directly at the listening position). But one day I decided to angle them just a little and ... whoa, where did all that bass come from?No explanation and it must be room-related, although the speakers are at least six feet away from both the rear and side walls. It's well worth experimenting, IMHO.
