Agree on the 405. I wonder how many quads DIDN'T get sold because they were demonstrated with that amp.I forgot that I heard the quads with the Nakamichi 420 and 620. The 420 was simply incapable of producing an image (damaged?), and the 620 just didn't sound very good (dynamics, punch).
