question about smaller advents

General speaker questions for audio and home theater.

I'm considering buying a pair of Smaller Advents from someone, but I'm not sure that they've been maintained in the right way. I've heard that some Smaller Advents were produced with surrounds that weren't inverted like on the Large Advents, but even putting that aside the woofer in this picture doesn't look right to me. (I've only seen Large Advents, so I don't have a direct basis for comparison.) Am I just imagining things, or should I pass on these?
