I have the 1.6 with a Vandy 2w sub and that fills things out quite nicely and easily compares to the 3a sigs IMHO. Have heard all the Vandy's at my dealer here in Jersey and he always has them sounding great, but when I get back home and turn on my system the Maggie Magic wins me over everytime. It's the midrange,the huge soundstage,and lifelike size of the performers.My amp is the ARC 150.2 Tripath and it really makes the maggies come to life. But...... be happy with your decision cause that's what matters most.
