Before jumping on the maggie bandwagon, seriously considered the vandersteen line as well. I actually liked the 2ce livelier presentation more than the 3a, but not as much as the maggie 1.6’s. The vandie 5 on the other hand are a different beast. My head says they’re excellent, but my heart prefers my maggie 3.6’s.Maggies need room to breathe to sound their best. I think dipole-ish speakers like vandies, as well as the gallo, peiga, devore are good alts in tight quarters. If you’re getting better results with something else, congrats on finding your way.
