I own the Hawk. It is used in a 11 x 12 room with 8 foot ceilings. The Hawk gives a more refined sound that you are looking for. Forest is a good speaker however, it is meant for larger spaces, bass is definitely more powerful.Note however, the Forest has better power handling capabilities if you like your music loud.
