Lots of speakers are rated 90db sensitive and are relatively small -- what you mean by a small footprint and what others mean however may be entirely different. I like my stand mounts because they operate in corners - thus it leaves less of a footprint than any and all speakers that are "free-standing" in terms of how much of the usable room they take up.And sensitivity is not the most important aspect of how easy a speaker is to drive - efficiency is.
