Re: It's a scam! (I know it..)

He sent me yet another email;
"Hello again i just talk with my wife and she told me she make a mistake when paypall appear on the item so i wish u understand me...and make that transfer if you really wanna buy this beauty."

I have sent the four emails from him to ebay to report this. I have zero intentions of sending him money. Why would any reasonably sane person send a bank to bank transfer to CA for speakers advertised as being for sale on ebay with a item location that is only 15 miles away from me in MA? There is always another pair of Hales T-8's coming up for sale somewhere every few months. What I do NOT understand is with the fee increases at ebay why they not spending any of the Billions in revenue on tighter security features? The latest schtick of calling people bidding, bidder1, bidder2, bidder3 is nuts. It makes it cake and pie easier for seller's to shill bid. I sent a email to ebay. One seller with over 3900 auctions always has the same bidder bidding on his auctions in 53% of them. He never seems to win but he bids to drive up the prices early and in the last few days or day of bidding. Ebay said there was nothing to investigate with my complaint. I guess it is wink wink nod nod as long as the seller generates a constant revenue stream for ebay. Go figure? It sure is getting harder to buy things in cyberspace it seems. John
