When is the ebay item you win is too good to be true?

From seller to me;

"Hello there,
I am glad that you are buy my Hales Transcendence 8 stunning I know the price is very cheap but due to the current circumstances I have no option then to sell my Hales Transcendence 8 stunning for less then he make. I need the money for this beauty asap as I have some debts to pay to the bank. I hope there won't be any problem if we will make this transaction with bank...here is my account info ,Name: Nina Steffey,Routing: 322271627,account: 3150648275,Bank: Washington Mutual Wire transfer department address 400E Main St. Stockton California 95202,please contact me after u make the transfer."

The auction clearly states that paypal can be used. I figured if I used my CC at least I would have some recourse. The seller called me at 6 PM. He refuses to let me drive the 15 miles to Concord, MA to pick them up in person. He then stated in another email if I send him half he will deliver them in person. I said fine I will use paypal. He only wants bank to bank transfer yada yada yada. The killer is I have been looking for a pair of T-8 for a while close enough to not have to pay shipping which would be expensive since they weight ~350 pounds boxed up. Of course when he called me my caller ID would not show his real phone number since he has it blocked. I guess I am back to hunting for another pair again. Lastly his images and description were cut and pasted word for word and picture for picture from a pair of Hales T-8 for sale now on AudioGon. John
